THE STORY BEHIND THE SAUCE
The Original: Mangonas
This is the one that started it all. As my very first creation, Mangonas holds a special place in my lineup. It was the bottle I nervously handed to family and friends for the first taste test - and it set the standard for everything that followed.

Not Just Fruit Jam
I had tasted plenty of mango hot sauces, but they all suffered from the same problem: they were cloyingly sweet, almost like a spicy fruit jam. They lacked dimension.
I wanted a tropical sauce that respected the fruit but performed like a savory condiment. A sauce that wasn't just sugar, but had character.
The Tropical Balance
To break the monotony of pure mango, I introduced a partner: Pineapple.
While mango provides the lush sweetness, pineapple brings the necessary acidity to cut through it. This dynamic duo creates a true tropical mix with a warm, inviting orange glow.
To make it truly compatible with savory food, I blended in a subtle vegetable base that grounds the fruitiness.


Mastering Consistency
For years, I peeled fresh fruit by hand, but the fluctuation in ripeness made it impossible to keep the flavor consistent. That wasn't good enough.
Today, I use premium 100% fruit purees - no added sugars, just pure fruit essence. This ensures that every bottle has that perfect punch of flavor, regardless of the season.
